13 Jun – 71-year-old actor Harrison Ford known for his role in "Indiana Jones" and the first "Star Wars" trilogy, accidently got himself injured when a hydraulic door from the iconic spaceship piloted by Hans Solo, the Millennium Falcon fell on him. Ford was then immediately airlifted to a nearby hospital to receive treatment. Ford is reprising his role as Hans Solo in the film which will also feature the original cast from 1977's "Star Wars", Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher. The three of them will join the new film alongside new additions John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Gwendoline Christie and Max von Sydow.
A spokesperson from Disney said that Ford "sustained an ankle injury during filming today," and "was taken to a local hospital and is receiving care." According to BBC News, as Ford is receiving treatment, the series' studio will continue the shooting of the film. "Star Wars: Episode VII", is scheduled for a December 18th, 2015 release in the U.S.
