29 Nov – Despite her photo leak, this is shaping up to be a good year for the "Hunger Games" actress. According to BBC News UK, Jennifer Lawrence's single from the film series' most recent instalment has made it to the UK Music Singles Charts. Lawrence sang on the song "The Hanging Tree", a somewhat morbid song sang by her character Katniss' father to her before he died, that is featured on the soundtrack of "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1". While Lawrence has mentioned before that she was not a fan of singing, the song's success just might change her mind about it. Composed by James Newton Howard and the folk rock band The Lumineers, with lyrics by "Hunger Games" author Suzanne Collins, "The Hanging Tree" currently places at number 29 on the chart, according to the Official Charts Company's mid-week sales figure. "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1" opened in North American cinemas on 21 November and has since grossed over USD311 million worldwide. It held the number one spot during its opening weekend, collecting USD121.9 million and making it the year's biggest opening. Lawrence will be seen in the final instalment of the film series, ""The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2", set for release in North American cinemas on 20 November 2015.
