Mark Lee wants to be a mute

Mark Lee stars in new movie, "A Fantastic Ghost Wedding".

29 Dec – Singaporean actor, television host and radio DJ, Mark Lee, recently revealed that he would love to act as a mute.

"I've done so many movies," the actor said to Cinema Online during a recent interview, "But I don't know if I'm really a good actor."

Mark reasoned that he would be a good one if he were able to pull off acting a character with no lines, who has to use only his eyes and body language to convey his emotions.

When asked whether he already has an offer to play a mute character, seeing his enthusiasm, or given any thought to directing a movie about one, Mark replied that he has no offers yet but he will be busy with an upcoming project as a director.

The upcoming movie will not be revolving around a mute however, as it will center on a Singaporean man falling for a girl from China.

This will be Mark's second time in the director's chair, following his directorial debut in 2011 with "The Ghosts Must Be Crazy".

Mark Lee will be seen next in his 2015 movies, "A Fantastic Ghost Wedding", coming out on 1 January; and "King Of Mahjong", which comes out 26 February.
