3 Sep – Walt Disney Animation Studios has announced that a new "Frozen" animated short film entitled "Frozen Fever" will be coming to the big screen next year featuring all the main characters from the box office success film, "Frozen" The film will be directed by the helmer of the original film, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck with a new original song by Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the pair behind the Oscar-winning song, "Let It Go". The special announcement was first made on ABC Television Network special "The Story of Frozen: Making an Animated Classic" which aired on 2 September 2014. The special also include the world television debut of a scene "Big Hero 6" and a sneak peek at the upcoming season of the ABC series "Once Upon A Time." In a press release by Walt Disney Animation Studios, the official synopsis of "Frozen Fever" is as follows:- "In Frozen Fever, it's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk." 2013 film "Frozen" is a worldwide success accumulating over USD1.2 billion in worldwide box office revenue. The film won a number of awards and nominations including two Academy Awards, one Golden Globe Award, one BAFTA Award, five Annie Awards and two Critics' Choice Awards. "Frozen Fever" is expected to be release in North America in spring 2015.
