3 Dec – It's official. Jared Leto and Margot Robbie are confirmed to be pairing up as the Joker and his on-off girlfriend, Harley Quinn, in the upcoming "Suicide Squad". Warner Bros. has revealed all the names of the actors who will be joining the DC movie, according to Variety, and there are six stars confirmed to be part of the star-studded cast. Will Smith will be taking on the role of Batman-enemy Deadshot, instead of Jai Courtney as previously rumoured. Courtney will instead be portraying Boomerang, the enemy of Flash. Tom Hardy has signed on to play Rick Flag, while Cara Delevingne has picked up the role of the Enchantress. Jesse Eisenberg is still in talks to play Lex Luthor, a part he will first portray in 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice". "Suicide Squad" tells the story of a group of the world's most notorious supervillains gathered together and given a chance for redemption by the government, with a twist – they might not escape from their missions alive. To be directed by David Ayer, filming will begin in Toronto, Canada next April. However, the studio is still looking for an actress to portray Amanda Waller. Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer and Oprah Winfrey are reportedly being eyed for the role. "Suicide Squad" is set to invade cinemas in North America on 5 August 2016. (Photo Source: ComingSoon.net)
