10 Aug – Malaysian filmmaker Liew Seng Tat is back with his second feature film, "Lelaki Harapan Dunia" and the trailer for the film has just been released.

Translated in English as "Men Who Save the World", the movie will be hitting Malaysian cinemas this 27 November 2014 and is distributed by GSC Movies.

In the meantime, the trailer has just been released and moviegoers can get a taste of what to expect from the award-winning filmmaker.

This film is as Malaysian as it gets as it touches on the subject of Angkat Rumah. Literally meaning "lifting the house", it is an old Malay tradition whereby villagers used to lend each other a hand in moving houses by literally lifting and carrying the whole house to whichever new piece of land the house owner wished for it to be moved to.

Liew said he wished to document this helping spirit in a Malaysian film reports The Sun Daily.

Moviegoers will enjoy the lighthearted comedy drama from Liew, which tells the story of Pak Awang who finds an abandoned house in the jungle and has the brilliant idea of giving it to his daughter as a wedding present. He enlists the help of the villagers to help him carry the house into the village, unknowingly carrying along an immigrant hiding inside it. Misunderstandings ensue when he spots the dark figure inside and mistakes him as an orang minyak, one of the ghosts from Malay myths.

The film will make an honourable premiere this 11 August at the 67th Festival del Film Locarno in Switzerland. It will also be one of the 15 selected feature films competing in the Concorso Cineasti del Presente (Filmmakers of the Present) section, a section which is dedicated to up and coming directors around the world.
