14 Feb – "Kick Ass 3" is not happening yet but director Matthew Vaughn has confirmed that a "Hit Girl" prequel movie is currently in the works. Last year, "Kick Ass" actress Chloë Grace Moretz who played Hit Girl in the film, denied the possibility of "Kick Ass 3" due to the piracy issue faced by the second film. However, according to Joblo, "Kick Ass" director Matthew Vaughn does not think so as he has said that there will be a "Kick Ass 3" but only after a "Hit Girl" prequel. "So we have this idea for a Hit Girl prequel. It's a really strong, really simple prequel where I think we can regain the love and the passion. If that happens, I'm pretty sure I can persuade Aaron and Chloe to come back and finish the story of Kick-Ass with Kick-Ass 3," said Vaughn. So, it is safe to assume that "Hit Girl" will probably take place before "Kick Ass 3" and after the events of "Kick Ass 2". Vaughn also stated that he would not direct the sequel but would let someone like Gareth Evans ("The Raid") to helm the film, "I spoke about it to Gareth Evans a couple of years ago. I'd get someone like that, a really bold, clever director. Most of it is set in the far east."
