Japanese Film Festival 2015 arrives in September


Some of the films that will be screened at JFF 2015.

14 AugThe annual event that Japanese movie fans look forward to every year is returning for its twelfth edition this September.

The Japanese Film Festival 2015 (JFF 2015) this time brings another lineup of 13 interesting movies that will be screened across 6 selected GSC cinemas nationwide.

The opening ceremony for JFF 2015 will take place on 8 September at GSC Pavilion KL, with the historical comedy drama "Kakekomi" as the opening film.

From 10 to 16 September, fans can catch JFF movies at GSC Mid Valley, GSC Pavilion KL and GSC 1 Utama. It will then move on to GSC Gurney Plaza, Penang from 17 to 20 September. JFF 2015 will also head on over to East Malaysia, showing from 24 to 27 September at GSC Suria Sabah in Kota Kinabalu and 1 to 4 October at GSC CityONE Megamall, Kuching, Sarawak.

The movie lineup includes the aforementioned "Kakekomi", comedy drama "Unsung Hero" and drama films "Our Little Sister", "Our Family", "Blindly in Love", "Bolt from the Blue", "Tamako in Moratorium", "Petal Dance", "My Little Nightmare" and "Tokyo Losers".

A total of three animated films are also included in this year's offerings: "The Adventures of Tyrano Boy", "Initial D the Movie Legend 2: Racer" and "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin I: Blue-Eyed Casval".
