Gallagher is suing Whedon for copyright infringement of at least 25 similar scenes from his novel and is seeking damages in excess of USD 10 million.

Anna Hutchison, Fran Kranz and Kristen Connolly.

Some of the similarities include the characters; which are three males and two females, two similar character names and personalities, a story that takes place in the same venue, which is a cabin and also the storyline, which is about the characters being manipulated and filmed as players in a real-life horror show.
