26 Oct – Actor Kamal Adli has denied knowing or receiving any confirmation about being dropped from the upcoming action comedy sequel, "Abang Long Fadil 2". Claims of the actor being dropped from the production sparked after fellow actor Zizan Razak said that he did not want to work with Kamal in the latest venture by Syafiq Yusof. "If they really drop me from the movie, I will be disappointed. I have been very excited for it and couldn't wait to get to the actual filming location. "I've been determined to do and give my best. In fact, the sequel discussion has taken place between me and the production since a year ago," said Kamal to BH Online. The actor added, if the rumours were true, it would be putting an end to his career. He could accept it if he were to be dropped because the production doubts his acting skills, however it would be unacceptable if it was something due to his personal issues. The 29-year-old also said he would lose his respect toward Zizan if the actor mixes up personal matters with work matters.
