Royal Selangor introduces "Star Wars" collection

11 Jul – "Star Wars" fans are in for a real treat this year, not only is a new "Star Wars" movie awaking in the cinemas this December, now pewter-maker Royal Selangor also has good news especially for memorabilia collectors.

The collaboration between Royal Selangor and The Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia will see the former producing "Star Wars"-themed merchandise for the next three years.


Pewter Stormtroopers are part of the collection.
The first lineup will be launched this August, which will include Limited Edition figurines and collectibles such as cufflinks, flash drives, tumblers, and goblets.

Fans who are interested with the collection and Limited Edition pre-orders can sign up for the "Star Wars" newsletter on Royal Singapore's official website.

This is not the first big franchise to be "pewterised" by Royal Selangor, as among its collection is also the J. R. R. Tolkien trilogy, "The Lord of the Rings", which includes the Limited Edition Smaug goblet, Gandalf goblet, War of the Ring chess set and more.

Meanwhile, new movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" opens in cinemas on 17 December 2015.
