26 Mar – "Mamak Cupcake" actor Shaheizy Sam is set to star in a new movie by Malaysian director, Dain Said. Entitled "Interchange", the movie is turning out to be quite a star-studded number as, according to Astro Awani, it will feature famous stars from Malaysia and Indonesia. Aside from Shaheizy, who will play Detective Man, another Malaysian actor to join the project as the leading man is "Terbaik Dari Langit" star, Iedil Putra. Prisia Nasution, winner of Best Leading Actress for the film "Sang Penari", will star as Iva opposite Iedil's Adam. Indonesian actor Nicholas Saputra, who shot to fame with "Ada Apa Dengan Cinta", takes on the role of Belian. Other stars such as Nadiya Nisaa, Alvin Wong, Chew Kin Wah and Junad M.Nor will also be a part of "Interchange". Director Dain Said is well-known for directing horror film, "Dukun", which was based on a true story of a Malaysian politician but the film was eventually banned in Malaysia. The director has won a few awards before including the Best Film award for his action movie, "Bunohan". "Interchange" tells the story of Adam, a forensic photographer who joins his colleague Detective Man in investigating a murder case.
