11 Feb – Sony Pictures Entertainment has announced that Spider-Man will be appearing in the next Captain America movie, "Captain America 3: Civil War". "Captain America 3: Civil War" has already been announced to feature a number of returning heroes such as Iron Man, Black Widow and now the debut of the new Spider-Man, since the character also has a key role in the storyline of the comic. Marvel and Sony also revealed that Andrew Garfield who played as Peter Parker in the last "The Amazing Spider-Man" and "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" will not be continuing his role as the web-slinger anymore. "Captain America 3: Civil War" directed by Anthony Russo and Joe Russo, has been slated to begin production later this year.
