The Force is almost awakening in Malaysia!

9 Dec – With less than two weeks until the highly anticipated release of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" worldwide, it is undeniable that much hype has led to The Force getting incredibly strong in Malaysia.

It is almost impossible to miss any "Star Wars" related activities, promotions and more nowadays as the movie is everywhere!

Cinemas, shopping malls and restaurants are going head to head to tie-up and create maximum hype for the movie.

So, before seeing the movie at the cinemas near you this 17 December, here are some special "Star Wars" themed promotions and activities that you can look out for in the country.

First of all, get your hands on the limited free "Star Wars" keychains at Subway Malaysia with a purchase of Roast Beef or Turkey Breast and Chicken Slice sub along with a 22oz drink.

From 17 December onwards up to 30 December 2015, GSC Cinemas will be giving away limited edition 'Star Wars The Black Series Kylo Ren Fore FX Deluxe Lightsaber with Metal Hilt' (worth RM1,079.90) and 'Star Wars The Black Series Electronic Voice Changer Helmet' (worth RM377.90). With 28 prizes to be given out daily over the span of 14 days, all one has to do is to upload a photo of their "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" GSC ticket stub on Instagram or Facebook. Last but not least, be the first to watch "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" from 12am to 6am in the morning on 17 December 2015, exclusively at TGV Cinemas Sunway Pyramid, the first cinema to organise an all-night-screening event.

There will also be some exciting "Star Wars" related on ground activities including dance-off, cosplays, lightsaber performance, quizzes, and more organised by fans. Fans can also get their hands on Cantina Combo which includes Leia's Buns or Han's Wrapper and Luke Skywater for only RM25.
