Taron Egerton eyed for young Han Solo


Taron Egerton as Eggsy in "Kingsman: The Secret Service" is eyed to play a young Han Solo.

23 Feb – It is reported that the Star Wars franchise is eyeing young actor Taron Egerton as the potential star for its next "Star Wars" spin-off, to play a young Han Solo which was previously portrayed by Harrison Ford.

According to Cinema Blend, the breakout star of "Kingsman: The Secret Service" is rumoured for the part, but no specific details or confirmation have been officially announced.

The spin-off film will reportedly reveal how Harrison Ford's iconic character got the Millennium Falcon and will depict on how he had a falling out with Jabba the Hutt

Several plot points have been announced to be leaked recently on the Internet, but according to J.J. Abrams, the director of the upcoming movie "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," some of them might be true and some might be false.

"I'm grateful for everyone who would want to read a spoiler because it means that they care and want to see the movie," he said.

Egerton has only started making a big impact on the big screen with his action packed comedy, "Kingsman: The Secret Service," as he plays the role of a misfit teenager who has the potential to follow his father's footsteps in becoming a secret agent.
