6 Jul - Stephen Fung's new film, "The Adventurers" is set to begin filming in the Czech Republic. The upcoming film, starring Hong Kong star Andy Lau and French actor Jean Reno, is a story centered on an overseas treasure hunt, according to Variety. The project was first announced at the HK FILMART back in March under the Flagship Entertainment banner, with mainland actor Feng Shaofeng originally cast to play the lead. The project also stars Stephen's rumoured girlfriend, Shu Qi. Previously Stephen was asked if his good friend actor Daniel Wu would also be appearing in the movie, but the filmmaker was quick to deny it, saying that Wu - who most recently starred in "Warcraft" - has a very packed schedule. According to the Czech State Cinematography Fund, the production will be spending around USD8.2 million in the country. Other movies to be released under Flagship include Peter Chan's "Murder of the Husband", and a Chinese remake of "Miss Congeniality". (Photo Source: Milk and Honey Pictures)
