29 Jun – "The Fault in Our Stars" leading man, Ansel Elgort, is ready to roll the dice for "Dungeons and Dragons". The 22-year-old is currently in early talks to star in the project, according to Deadline. The movie will be directed by Rob Letterman ("Monsters vs. Aliens", "Goosebumps"), though there are no further details regarding the plot and casting, apart from Elgort's, revealed as of now. The upcoming "Dungeons & Dragons" will be the second big screen adaptation of the role-playing game by the same name, which received its first movie adaptation back in 2000. The first movie was poorly received but that did not put a damper on Warner Bros.' spirit as the studio was adamant to make a new version, despite this leading to a court case with production company Sweetpea Entertainment and toy giant Hasbro over whether either owned the sequel rights. The lawsuit was resolved last August with all three parties agreeing to work together on the new version. "The Conjuring 2" writer David Leslie Johnson is penning the script for the project. Before Elgort can be seen slaying some dragons, he will first appear in upcoming movies "November Criminals", "Billionaire Boys Club" and "Baby Driver".
