"BoBoiBoy The Movie" total collection jumps to RM10 million

17 Mar – The success of the local animation "BoBoiBoy The Movie" has been astounding, especially now since it has collected RM10 million after just two weeks of playing in cinemas.

The great news was recently announced on BoBoiBoy's Facebook page, also making the film directed by Animonsta Studios' CEO Nizam Razak to be the all-time highest grossing local animated film in Malaysia.

Recently, Cinema Online contacted Nizam Razak when the film collected RM8 million after just 11 days at the cinemas, and the director said that they are aiming for the box office collection to hopefully reach RM13 million by the end of this week.

The collection for "BoBoiBoy The Movie" is expected to rise although having to compete against big Hollywood animations such as "Zootopia" and "Kung Fu Panda 3" which are also currently showing in cinemas.

Meanwhile, the film is set to be released in Indonesia this April.
