25 Aug – Want to watch this year's FFM-nominated movies for free? Now you can thanks to the FFM 28 Top Five Films Screening by National Film Development Corporation Malaysia (FINAS). FFM, also known as Malaysia Film Festival, returns for its 28th edition this September. Prior to the film festival officially taking place next week, a screening to showcase some of the movies will be held from this Friday onwards. The screening will be held at Pawagam Mini P. Ramlee, FINAS Hulu Kelang. On 26 August, Friday, movies that will be screened are "Girlfriend Kontrak", "The Kid From The Big Apple" and "Nota". On 28 August, Sunday, a total of five movies will be screened: "Mat Moto – Kami Mat Moto Bukan Mat Rempit", "BoboiBoy", "Jagat", "Rembat" and "Love Supermoon". The next screening will be held on 1 September, Thursday, for four movies, "Ola Bola", "Jejak Warriors", "Munafik" and "Maravan". The last screening will be held on 2 September, Friday, which includes "Polis Evo", "Huat The Fish" and "Oh! La La". The 28th edition of the Malaysia Film Festival is taking place from 1 to 3 September, with the main award ceremony taking place on the last day at Plenary Hall, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC).
