The company will also be bringing the Rajinikanth-starrer to Malaysia, though it has yet to announce how many halls will be screening the crime drama.

Filmed mostly in Malaysia, local actors Datuk Rosyam Nor, Norman Hakim and Zack Taipan join lead Rajinikanth as part of the cast. The movie star is currently doing the dubbings for the movie, as revealed by director Pa Ranjith on Twitter.

Meanwhile, The News Minute reported that the first teaser for the movie is expected to be attached with upcoming Tamil sci-fi movie, "24".

It is also reported that producer Kalaipuli S Thanu plans to conduct the audio launch in Malaysia. Previously, another Rajinikanth-starrer, "Endhiran", also conducted its audio launch in the country.

Malik Streams recently distributed Tamil movie, "Theri", in more than 200 halls in Malaysia. The action movie managed to open at number three at the local weekend box office.

"Kabali" has yet to be given a release date but according to Behindwoods, the movie is slated for release in India on 3 June 2016, so it could be expected that it will open around the same time in other markets.
