29 Jul – Action superstar Jackie Chan has announced the stars that will be joining him in his new movie, "Bleeding Steel".

As reported on Deadline, the movie, which began its principal photography in Australia recently, will also star Aussie actor Tess Haubrich of "Alien: Covenant" fame, and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier" star, Callan Mulvey.

Taiwanese pop star and actor Show Luo will also join the production. The singer was last seen in Stephen Chow's 2016 box office hit, "The Mermaid".

Aside from the three stars, "Bleeding Steel" has also cast young cellist Nana Ouyang ("To The Fore") and newcomer Erica Xia.

Written and directed by Leo Zhang, the movie is China's most expensive movie to ever shoot in Australia, and marks Jackie's return to the country since 1996's "Mr. Nice Guy".

The actor also recently admitted that he has always loved Australia, since his parents lived in the country for 40 years.

"Bleeding Steel" tells a story about a special forces agent (Chan) who has to fight to protect a young woman who is an important witness for a major case.
