19 Apr
– "Now Chu See Three," was director Jon M. Chu's punny way of announcing the news on Instagram that he has once again boarded the "Now You See Me" franchise as a director.

The 36-year-old has confirmed that he will be directing "Now You See Me 3", according to Variety, which will be a follow up to his yet to be released "Now You See Me 2".

"Now You See Me 3" has been in the making since last year, with Lionsgate already planning for the movie series to be a trilogy, though at the time there was no director attached to the third project yet.

Chu took over as director when Louis Leterrier, who helmed the 2013 "Now You See Me", decided not to return for the sequel. Now two months before the second movie is set for release, the studio has sealed the deal with Chu to also helm the third movie.

The upcoming "Now You See Me 2" sees the return of Mark Ruffalo, Jesse Eisenberg, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine and Woody Harrelson.

The original cast is joined by new additions, Daniel Radcliffe ("Harry Potter", "Horns"), Jay Chou ("The Green Hornet", "Initial D") and Lizzy Caplan ("Mean Girls", "Cloverfield"), who replaces Isla Fisher.

"Now You See Me 2" appears on the big screen in June 2016.
