10 Nov – The gala premiere of "The Kid from the Big Apple 2: Before We Forget" received a rave response when it was held yesterday at GSC Mid Valley Megamall.

Many fans flooded the scene for a rare opportunity of meeting and interacting with their favourite actors and actresses.

Among the big names that attended the event are Sarah Tan Qin Lin, Ti Lung, Jessica Hsuan, Jayson Tan, Lenna Lim, Debbie Goh and director Jess Teong.

Fans who are waiting patiently to meet their favourite cast members.

In addition to its cast, a number of VIP and sponsor representatives were also present for the lively event.

This movie is a sequel to last year's "The Kid from the Big Apple", which was met with great reception from the public.

A live rendition of the movie's soundtrack, which combines the languages of Chinese, Malay and English.

The first movie also took home two wins at the 28th Malaysia Film Festival (FFM 28) through Best Child Actor Award (Tan Qin Lin) and the Special Jury Award.

"The Kid from the Big Apple 2: Before We Forget" follows grandfather Chungen, who is excited to reunite with both his daughter and granddaughter after several years. However, things soon take a turn for the worse when his memory gradually fades, no longer remembering the family's happy moments together.
