4 Dec – Get this Puddin', there's yet another Harley Quinn movie currently in the works. The cat's finally out of the bag when "Suicide Squad" star Margot Robbie confirmed news of the separate movie recently. "I've been working on a separate spinoff for Harley for a while now," said Robbie to MTV News, adding that it is a "totally separate" version from the other Harley Quinn spinoffs previously announced. "I kept saying it while we were filming "Suicide Squad". I was like, 'She needs her girlfriends.'"
Robbie revealed that she had been working on the spinoff for two years now, with her own production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, also involved in it. This will be the fourth Harley Quinn project for the actress, including the "Suicide Squad" sequel, the Gotham City Sirens-focused spinoff and the Joker-Harley Quinn standalone movie. With so many movies lined up, Robbie herself isn't sure which would begin filming first but she is set to don her colourful Harley Quinn look again some time in 2018. The 27-year-old Australian actress first starred as the supervillain in last year's "Suicide Squad", which, despite facing setbacks, has gone on to gross USD745.6 million worldwide.
