Italian Film Festival takes place next week

"Italo", starring Italian heart-throb Marco Bocci (L), is one of the movies showing at the film festival.

2 Nov – The Italian Film Festival (IFF) is coming to our shores, bringing along with it the country's best cinematic produce.

IFF will take place for the whole of next week, from 6 until 12 November 2017.

Movies that will be showcased at the film festival are "La Mafia Uccide Solo D'Estate", "Italo", "Pazze Di Me" and "Fairy Tale".

"La Mafia Uccide Solo D'Estate", also known as "The Mafia Kills Only in Summer", is a dark comedy about a Sicilian journalist who grew up admiring the Mafia; the heart-warming tale of "Italo" follows a stray dog who warms everyone's hearts; the hilarious story of "Pazze Di Me", otherwise known as "Women Drive Me Crazy", is about a man living in a house full of dominating women; and horror-thriller "Fairy Tale", which also goes by as "The Haunting of Helena", tells of a divorcee whose daughter is possessed by an evil entity.

Audiences can catch free screenings for all the movies, with option for some food and beverages at selected locations.

Italian Film Festival will be held at TGV Cinemas 1 Utama, TGV Cinemas Sunway Velocity Mall and TGV Cinemas KLCC.
