"Jurassic World 2" has 'fallen' for a different name

Surprise, there's a new name for the sequel to 2015's "Jurassic World"!

25 Jun – The follow-up to Chris Pratt-starrer, "Jurassic World", has 'fallen' for a decidedly different name, with a hint of the darkness the sequel promises to deliver.

Previously often referred to as "Jurassic World 2", the upcoming movie is now officially known as "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom".

The new title was recently shared on the movie's official Twitter page, with the caption "In one year, life finds a way", which refers to the movie's release date of 22 June 2018 in North American cinemas.

Director J. A. Bayona previously said that the sequel will go down a "darker and scarier" path compared to its 2015 predecessor and the new name change and poster seem to hold true to that promise.

The sequel's new title is "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom".

However, there is no pleasing everyone as fans have left comments online professing their issue against the tagline: "Life finds a way".

While it is quite a positive nod to Jeff Goldblum's Dr. Ian Malcolm character, who uttered the memorable quote in 1993's "Jurassic Park", some are offended by the fact that the tagline emblazoned on the new poster has omitted the word "uh" – as in "Life, uh, finds a way."

Well, "Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom" will probably find its way around this very nitpicky issue.

The upcoming sequel will see the return of Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the starring roles while Goldblum will also be reprising his role as Ian Malcolm (he'll probably spout a new quote for fans to use so they can leave the "Life finds a way" misquote alone).

Newcomers Toby Jones, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith and Rafe Spall will also be part of the cast. Steven Spielberg, along with Frank Marshall, will return to produce while Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly are writing the script.
