3 Mar – Fans of Wolverine who wants the latest instalment, "Logan", to be even grittier, how about catching the movie in glorious black and white? The possibility of the R-rated movie being released in a desaturated version was never far from anyone's mind, since director James Mangold had been sharing dramatic black and white stills prior to the movie's release. No doubt the crisp contrast of black against white give the shared stills a sharp look, giving them more depth and sentiment. That is exactly what fans are hoping to see in the movie, as it would suit the temperament of the movie perfectly.
Currently, the Hugh Jackman-starrer showing in cinemas is in full blown technicolour. But Mangold had been busy replying posts on social media, promising that he is working on the black and white version already. So fingers (claws?) crossed, fans, that the alternate version will also be shown on the silver screen and not just going straight to DVDs. It will definitely give even more edge to what is already a certified-fresh movie. "Logan" might be the second movie everyone is very much rooting for a black and white version in recent history, after George Miller's "black & chrome" version of "Mad Max: Fury Road" last year.
