16 Dec – Looking for the perfect Christmas gift for Marvel fans couldn't be easier this year, just take them to Madame Tussauds Singapore for a truly 'Marvel'ous experience. Launched recently at the wax museum was the Marvel 4D Experience, which includes what is believed to be the first Marvel 4D cinema in Asia. "Marvel superheroes appeal to everyone, and they are also very current," said Alex Ward, Madame Tussauds Singapore's head of operations, as quoted by The Straits Times. "There is a new Marvel movie coming out every few months, so we wanted to launch this new section as they are so popular and trendy at the moment."
The aforementioned 4D cinema screens a Marvel short film accompanied by seats that move in accordance to the actions onscreen, with added effects such as water sprays to make the movie fully immersive for the audience. Marvel fans will spot not only Iron Man, Thor and the likes in the short film but also several iconic Singaporean locations including Gardens by the Bay. This is not the first Marvel attraction at the museum, as there is already a Spider-Man section. However, this will be the first time that Spidey is joined by his fellow Avengers in a Marvel section of the museum. Aside from experiencing the 4D movie, fans can also pose with their favourite superheroes – or just the superhero figures. But believe us, that's already enough to fill a Marvel fan's stocking for this Christmas. (Photo source: Madame Tussauds Singapore website)
