"Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" previously conquered another big awards ceremony, the Golden Globes.

23 Jan – The 24th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards was held recently at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall, hosted by "Bad Moms'" Kristen Bell.

The Screen Actors Guild handed out its Actor statuettes for a total of thirteen categories, which award outstanding performances in movies and television.

Winning big in the Theatrical Motion Picture categories is "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri", the drama film that also dominated at the 75th Golden Globes Awards earlier this month.

It bagged three accolades, beating "The Big Sick", "Get Out", "Lady Bird" and "Mudbound" for the coveted Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture award.

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role: Frances McDormand (Mildred), "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri"

Meanwhile, in the Television categories, silver screen actors Nicole Kidman and Alexander Skarsgard, both stars of HBO's "Big Little Lies", each won the Outstanding Performance by a Female/Male Actor in a Television Movie or Limited Series awards.

Another HBO series, "Veep", won the Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Comedy Series award, with NBC's "This is Us" winning its Drama equivalent.

Netflix's "The Crown" managed to snag one award; Claire Foy's portrayal of Queen Elizabeth II won her the Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series award.
