26 Apr – After its overwhelming critical and box office success over the past few weeks, "A Quiet Place" is officially getting a sequel. As reported by Variety, Paramount Pictures' chairman and CEO, Jim Gianopulos, was not silent about the follow-up as he told attendees about it at this year's CinemaCon. "We're thrilled to say that we're already working on the sequel to "A Quiet Place"," he revealed. Gianopulos did not provide any further details including whether or not director John Krasinski and the original cast members would return for the project. "A Quiet Place" was a hit among audiences and critics when it raked in USD213 million at the worldwide box office with mostly positive reviews. The movie stars Krasinski and his real-life wife, Emily Blunt, and follows a family living in total silence to avoid being preys to alien-like creatures that hunt by the slightest of sound.
