13 Apr – "It" may have just found its adult Bill Denbrough and Richie Tozier for the anticipated sequel.

Variety is reporting that Bill Hader and James McAvoy are both in talks to star in the "It" sequel as adult versions of Tozier and Denbrough, who were portrayed by Finn Wolfhard and Jaeden Lieberher respectively.

Negotiations for their recruitment are still too early to confirm but if all goes according to plan, Hader and McAvoy will join Jessica Chastain as the actress was recently confirmed to play an adult Beverly Marsh.

Bill Skarsgård is expected to return as the villainous Pennywise the Dancing Clown, along with the original cast members who played the younger versions of The Losers' Club.

Andy Muschietti will also return as director, to helm from a script written by Gary Dauberman and Jeffrey Jurgensen.

The first chapter of "It", released in 2017, was a commercial success with over USD700 million collection at the world wide box office, making it the highest-grossing horror movie of all time.

The "It" sequel will take place years after The Losers' Club's first experience with Pennywise and will have them, now in their forties, return to their hometown of Derry to face the clown once and for all.

Production of the second "It" movie will commence this July with a North American release date set for 6 September 2019.
