6 Jun – A glance at Justin Bieber's latest Instagram post will give his fans a clue on his new project and it is not a musical one.
The singer posted a sketch of Cupid and captioned it "cupidmovie", teasing his involvement in an upcoming movie based on the God of love and attraction.
Deadline reported that the 24-year-old will be executive producing the animated movie, for which he will also lend his voice to the title character.
The movie will be produced under the Mythos Studios banner, whose co-founder Scooter Braun said that "when this project was brought to Justin, he instantly was excited to be a part of it. Fortunately for us, like Cupid, he knows a little bit about love and mischief."
Braun previously produced Bieber's 2011 concert film, "Never Say Never", alongside the singer himself.
Mythos Studios co-founder David Maisel, executive producer of "The Angry Birds Movie", "Iron Man" and "Thor", among others, is also producing the Cupid movie.
Bieber's previous movie experiences include brief appearances in "Men in Black 3", "Zoolander 2" and "Killing Hasselhoff".
