7 May – Popular actress Uqasha Senrose shocked the local entertainment world when news of her arrest spread, after she was discovered of being in possession of six aluminium-wrapped parcels containing 53 Erimin 5 pills. However, KL City police chief Datuk Mazlan Lazim revealed that the actress has been released on police bail after the police has finished conducting their investigation on the incident. He added that the "Paku Pontianak" actress will be investigated under Section 12(2) of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. "It will carry a maximum fine of RM100,000 or maximum jail term of five years, or both, if found guilty," said the police chief, according to NSTP.
