Daniel Craig's injury delays "Bond 25" filming

Daniel Craig reportedly sustained injury after falling down while running in one of the scenes.

15 May – Filming for "Bond 25" has begun in Jamaica and was originally scheduled to continue in London this weekend. However, the London filming has now been cancelled due to the injury sustain by star Daniel Craig.

The 51-year-old was filming a scene, clad in his titular super spy's iconic suit, when he slipped and fell "quite awkwardly" while running.

"He was in quite a lot of pain and was complaining about his ankle," a source told British newspaper The Sun.

"As you'd expect he was also pretty angry that it had happened. He threw his suit jacket on the ground in sheer frustration."

The source added that the actor has flown out of Jamaica to the US and has seen a specialist, who coincidentally treated Tottenham and England striker Harry Kane before.

There's no new dates set yet to replace the cancelled filming at London's Pinewood Studios.

While it is unknown how long the production will be delayed, the movie could still open as scheduled in April 2020.

Injuries are inevitable in an actor's line of work, especially when it comes to action movies. In his more than decade-long career as James Bond, Craig has sustained multiple injuries, including getting his teeth knocked out, tearing his shoulder muscle, injuring his knees and ribs and getting the tip of his fourth finger sliced off.
