"Fantastic Beasts 3" release date might be delayed

Production for "Fantastic Beasts 3" will start in late fall.

22 Jan – It seems like "Fantastic Beasts 3" will be hitting the big screen a little later than everyone is hoping for, fans might not even get to watch it in the expected November 2020 slot.

The production start date of the movie has been delayed by Warner Bros., Deadline reported.

Fans can take solace in the fact that it will only be a few months delay. Since it was originally supposed to have begun filming in July this year but production has now been pushed to possibly late autumn.

Reportedly, it is due to the fact that the third movie requires "more prep time".

"Fantastic Beasts 3" is set to be the continuation of "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald", which was released in North American cinemas on 16 November 2018, and "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them", released on 18 November 2016.
