22 Jan – It seems like "Fantastic Beasts 3" will be hitting the big screen a little later than everyone is hoping for, fans might not even get to watch it in the expected November 2020 slot. The production start date of the movie has been delayed by Warner Bros., Deadline reported. Fans can take solace in the fact that it will only be a few months delay. Since it was originally supposed to have begun filming in July this year but production has now been pushed to possibly late autumn. Reportedly, it is due to the fact that the third movie requires "more prep time". "Fantastic Beasts 3" is set to be the continuation of "Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald", which was released in North American cinemas on 16 November 2018, and "Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them", released on 18 November 2016.
The two "Fantastic Beasts" movies stared Eddie Redmayne as Magizoologist Newt Scamander. Starring alongside him are Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Ezra Miller, and Dan Fogler, with Jude Law playing a young Albus Dumbledore in the second movie and Johnny Depp returning as the villain Grindelwald. The movies managed to pull in USD814 million and nearly USD650 million worldwide each. David Yates will be returning to direct the third movie, with David Heyman, Steve Kloves, Lionel Wigram and J.K. Rowling on board as producers. In 2016, Rowling announced that the "Fantastic Beasts" franchise, which she created as a spinoff and prequel to her "Harry Potter" movie series, will include five movies. So far no further details have been given on the fourth and fifth movies.
