14 Feb - For those who have been looking forward to the "Suicide Squad" sequel, hoping to see more of Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, well, that's no longer happening. Robbie's Harley Quinn is not expected to make an appearance in the second instalment, according to Forbes. Since the James Gunn-helmed sequel will be more of a soft reboot rather than a direct follow-up to the 2016 superhero movie, it would feature largely new characters and cast. So maybe don't hold out hope of seeing any of the other stars like Will Smith and Jared Leto to return either. As for those who have been hoping to one day spend a Valentine's Day watching Harley Quinn and Joker's warped love story unfold in cinematic glory, that's not happening either. The planned movie focusing on the twisted couple has been scrapped. This could be because Jared Leto, despite his yearning to prove himself capable of carrying the Joker role, is also not getting his solo Clown Prince of Darkness movie after all. Not to worry, fans will still see plenty of Robbie's Harley Quinn. As the title says, she is the lead of "Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn)", and since it's been theorised that she and Leto's Joker are broken up in that movie, all the more (less?) reason that their abovementioned joint movie is not happening.
