19 Mar – The latest "Fatman Beyond" podcast from filmmaker Kevin Smith had every Marvel fan excited, as he revealed the possibility of Charlie Cox's Daredevil joining MCU's third Tom Holland-led "Spider-Man" movie. Cox was last seen playing the superhero in season 3 of Netflix's "Daredevil" and fans have since been waiting for his return either on the small screen or the big screen. Understandably, this bit of news is making fans all hyped up to see Spidey team up with Daredevil – with Deadpool thrown into the mix – for the web-slinger's next feature film adventure. However, the "Yoga Hosers" director has taken to Twitter to clarify what he meant in his podcast. "Perspective: While I, too, hope this rumor is true, please remember that I only talked about it with @marcbernardin on #FatManBeyond after I read about it on the internet, just like everyone else. This means I have no inside info. Much like everybody else, I'm just a hopeful fan," Smith tweeted. Well, that's a bummer. But for Spidey fans, at least they'll still get to see the teen web-slinger back in action in the upcoming "Spider-Man 3", a continuation of 2019's "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and 2017's "Spider-Man: Far From Home".
