22 Sep – Earlier this year (just a couple of days into the new year, in fact), it was announced that the Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany-starring "WandaVision" is all set to be released on Disney+ sometime in 2020. Finally Disney has dropped an all-new trailer for the series, showing off more of the titular superhero couple's domestic life. Gradually switching from greyscale to coloured, the trailer hints at the series being a sitcom-like throwback to the retro era. Though will this really be the case, fans will have to wait until the six-episode show make it to Disney's steaming service this December. Also featured in the trailer is a shot of the couple carrying two babies, previously briefly shown in Marvel's Disney+ showcase trailer at this year's Super Bowl. There are speculations that the babies are their twin sons, Wiccan and Speed.
Unfortunately for Marvel fans who have been waiting for Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan to reprise their respective roles as Falcon and Winter Soldier in their own upcoming series, their wait will have to stretch a little longer. Originally set for release last month, "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" has to be delayed due to various reasons, including production being halted by earthquakes in Puerto Rico back in January and later by the global pandemic. The Verge reported that even though there has been no official announcement from Marvel, the description for the series on the Disney+ website has change to note that the series will now be released in 2021. There is no confirmed date yet, possibly since filming has only recently resumed. Fans have seen a few glimpses of it through the same abovementioned Super Bowl showcase trailer, so hopefully there won't be much left to shoot and the six-episode series could make it for release early next year.
