4 May – Keanu Reeves doesn't have to worry about going up against himself box office wise next year, as his "John Wick 4" is no longer opening on the same weekend as his other action piece, "The Matrix 4". Over the weekend, Lionsgate did some reshuffling of its release schedule and moved the fourth "John Wick" instalment from 21 May 2021 to 27 May 2022, avoiding a Reeves vs. Reeves showdown in North American cinemas – though unfortunately depriving fans of their much awaited "Keanu Day". However, this now puts it against another Warner Bros. title, "Dungeons & Dragons", and an untitled Disney movie, according to ComingSoon.net. Aside from that, the Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson-starring "Spiral", also known as "Spiral: From The Book of Saw", that was removed from its 15 May 2020 release date is now taking up the May 2021 slot vacated by "John Wick 4". Meanwhile, "The Hitman's Wife's Bodyguard", another L. Jackson-starrer, this time alongside Ryan Reynolds, gets a much earlier release date. The sequel to "The Hitman's Bodyguard" has moved up a year from 20 August 2021 to 28 August 2020. The Janelle Monáe-starring horror drama, "Antebellum", which was delayed from its April 2020 release, will now open on 21 August 2020. Hilary Swank's "Fatale" moves from 19 June 2020 to 30 October 2020, taking advantage of a currently free Halloween weekend, and Tye Sheridan and Lily Rose-Depp's "Voyagers" has been added to the schedule. It is set for 25 November 2020, putting it up against Daniel Craig's final Bond movie, "No Time to Die".
