2 Sep – It was reported that Josie Ho is set to collaborate with French director Luc Besson in two action movies. The actress-producer, who co-founded the Hong Kong-based 852 Films with husband Conroy Chan, is said to star in and produce the movies that will be directed by Besson. This will mark Besson's first projects after stepping down as CEO at EuropaCorp, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter, Josie revealed that the two parties were first introduced by Michelle Yeoh, who starred in Besson's 2011 Aung San Suu Kyi biopic "The Lady", almost a decade ago and that they had a great time discussing their interest in movies and decided to work together. "Luc very generously asked me for an idea and agreed to develop it with me," she said. However, due to the pandemic, one of the projects will only begin filming at the end of 2021 and the other has yet to set a start date. (Photo source: Josie Ho's Facebook)
