12 Oct – Production company Kuman Pictures once again makes history when its horror movie, "Roh", is selected to compete at this year's TOHorror Fantastic Film Fest. The exciting news was shared on Kuman Pictures' Facebook, in a post that stated, "We are happy to announce that #filemROH has been selected for competition at the TOHorror Fantastic Film Fest that will take place in Torino, Italy, from 28 October until 1 November. "The festival is specifically for horror, fantasy and sci-fi films. Other movies in competition hail from the United Kingdom (UK), German, Canada, Russia, Estonia and Turkey." Apart from the above, "Roh" will also be screened on the Indonesian video streaming portal KlikFlim, in conjunction with the pre-festival event of Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival 2020 that begins this 15 October. Last year, "Roh" made its premiere at the Singapore International Film Festival as well as Jogja-NETPAC Asian Film Festival. In its home country Malaysia, "Roh" was able to play in cinemas for six weeks, making a box office collection of RM500,000, despite being released amid the pandemic. The feature directorial debut by Emir Ezwan stars only six cast members: Farah Ahmad, Mhia Farhana, Harith Haziq and Putri Syahadah Nurqaseh, as well as husband-and-wife duo Namron and Junainah M. Lojong.
