20 Nov – Popular social media celebrity Addison Rae's dream of making a Hollywood debut is finally coming true, as she has been tapped to star in the gender-swap reboot of 1999 rom-com, "She's All That". Through the new movie, titled "He's All That", Rae will play an influencer, mirroring her real-life status, taking over the starring role played by Freddie Prinze Jr. in the original movie.

Director Mark Waters, who also helmed "Freaky Friday" and "Mean Girls", thinks that Rae is the best pick to play the role thanks to her charisma. "I know she's green, but she's got the goods. There's a built-in charisma that she has that makes people really respond to her, and that's exactly what you want from a movie actor," he says, as quoted by The Hollywood Reporter. Rae, who is the second biggest TikTok star in the world, underwent an audition several months ago, which included shooting a self-tape and later, at the home of producer Jennifer Gibgot, reading lines in person.
