13 Sep – A week after it was revealed that "The Expendables" will continue its run through its fourth instalment, it was reported that "The Godfather" actor Andy Garcia will be joining the franchise as well. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is set to play the role of a CIA handler who accompanies the Expendables on their mission, and will be joining several other new faces including Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Megan Fox and Tony Jaa. On the other hand, original stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Randy Couture and Dolph Lundgren will also be returning.
Filming is set to begin in October, with "Need for Speed" director Scott Waugh helming the project. On the other hand, Garcia will be seen next on "Big Gold Brick", which will also co-star Megan Fox. He is also currently filming the upcoming drama film, "The Father of the Bride".
