19 Jul – The fifth instalment of the "Indiana Jones" franchise has added another star into the mix in the likes of Spanish actor Antonio Banderas. The Oscar-nominated actor is reportedly in the last stage of negotiation to join Harrison Ford in the new movie, which is currently in production in the United Kingdom. No news as to what character Banderas will play in the movie for the time being.
The movie, helmed by James Mangold and produced by Steven Spielberg, will see the addition of Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renée Wilson. The film is set to be released in July 2022. On the other hand, Banderas has recently completed filming Sony's "Unchartered" alongside Tom Holland and Mark Wahlberg, has begun to shoot the noir thriller "The Enforcer", and will also return to voice Puss in Boots in the DreamWorks Animation sequel, "Puss in Boots: The Last Wish". His upcoming movies include the Penelope Cruz-starrer, "Official Competition".
