15 Mar – After many postponements, it was revealed that the highly-anticipated reboot, "The Batman" has finally wrapped up filming.

The news was shared by film director Matt Reeves, who had been MIA from Twitter for a long time, in a shoutout he made to his director of photography Greig Fraser, tweeting, "#LastDay #TheBatman."

He then retweeted cast member Jeffrey Wright, who'd shared a fan art of his character Gotham Police Commissioner James Gordon, writing, "Gordon out... for now. One year exactly after the shutdown. Some ride."

Jeffrey Wright posted this fan art to announce that he has completed all his scenes.

It is noted that "The Batman" had to delay its original June 2021 release date twice after having to shut down production due to the pandemic.

In September last year, they also revealed that a member of the production team had contracted COVID-19, and filming had to be halted until a month later.

The upcoming reboot stars Robert Pattinson as Batman/Bruce Wayne, with other cast members include Zoë Kravitz as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Paul Dano as Riddler, Colin Farrell as the Penguin, Andy Serkis as Alfred, and John Turturro as crime boss Carmine Falcone.
