28 Oct – Indonesian martial arts actor Iko Uwais has been cast to play the villain in the upcoming fourth instalment of "The Expendables".

The actor recently confirmed the good news on social media, writing, "So excited and thankful to be given the opportunity to work with the legends of the industry."

Details are still kept under wraps, but it was reported that Iko will be playing the role of a former military officer-turned-arms dealer who has his own private army.

"The Raid 2" was banned in Malaysia for being too violent. Hope 'The Expendables 4" won't be though

Iko made his mark in Hollywood following the success of his 2011 movie, "The Raid". His most recent movie is the Paramount film, "Snake Eyes".

He also produces and stars in the Netflix film, "Fists Fill of Vengeance".

The upcoming "The Expendables 4" will be Sylvester Stallone's swansong as Barney Ross. It co-stars Jason Statham, Dolph Lundgren and Randy Couture, with the addition of Megan Fox, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson, Jacob Scipio and Andy Garcia.

Iko Uwais and Henry Golding star in "Snake Eyes"

On a separate note, check out Henry Golding speaking some Bahasa Indonesia with Iko.
