24 Dec – It looks like the eager fans will have to wait a little longer for "John Wick 4" to arrive in theatres, as it was reported that the film's release date has been pushed yet again. In an announcement made by Lionsgate on 22 December, the movie is revealed to have been pushed back almost a year from its original 27 May 2022 release to 24 March 2023. This is the second time that the movie has been delayed, after production had to be halted last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It was originally set for a 21 May 2021 release. It is noted that the previous May 2022 release would have put the movie in competition with Paramount's Tom Cruise-starrer, "Top Gun: Maverick". The upcoming movie is helmed once again by Chad Stahelski, who also directed the first three movies.
