3 Feb – Kristen Stewart was fully transformed into the late Princess Diana in the new photos released over the weekend from the set of her new movie, "Spencer". The actress, who plays the role of the Princess of Wales in the new movie directed by Pablo Larraín, was recently spotted filming on location at Schlosshotel Kronberg in Germany, which is used as a set for the Queen's Sandringham Estate. Sporting Diana's signature hairstyle and a cream sweater similar to what was worn by the late royal during a photo shoot at Kensington Palace in late 1983, Stewart seemed to have embodied Diana perfectly.
The upcoming movie, which has started filming last month, will revolve around Charles and Diana's marriage during a Christmas weekend in Sandringham in 1991 as the Princess of Wales deliberated on her decision to go her separate ways from her husband. It is noted that the royal couple was separated in 1992 and had their divorce finalised in August 1996. Just a year after that, Diana was tragically killed in a car accident in Paris on 31 August 1997. In her previous interview with InStyle about the role, Stewart said that she has been working very hard on her accent, and went through two and a half biographies about Diana in her preparation for her role. "It's one of the saddest stories to exist ever, and I don't want to just play Diana - I want to know her implicitly. I haven't been this excited about playing a part, by the way, in so long," she said.
