24 Dec – After donning his old Batman costume for the upcoming "The Flash" movie, it was revealed that Michael Keaton will be reprising his iconic Caped Crusader role yet again in the upcoming superhero movie, "Batgirl". The actor is set to unite with stars of the upcoming movie, which include Leslie Grace, who will play the titular role, J.K. Simmons, as well as Brendan Fraser - the latter who reportedly will play a villain in the movie. The plot of "Batgirl" is still being kept under wraps, but will revolve around Barbara Gordan, the daughter of Gotham City's police commissioner Jim Gordon. Warner Bros is keeping mum about Keaton's involvement, though Leslie Grace seemed to have confirmed the news by tweeting, "The bat's out of the bag."
Keaton first portrayed Bruce Wayne/Batman in Tim Burton's 1989 movie, "Batman", and returned for the sequel in 1992. Earlier this year, it was revealed that he will be making his comeback as the Caped Crusader in Andrés Muschietti's "The Flash", which will be released in November next year.
