1 Sep – Captain America and Black Widow are reuniting - and by that we mean Chris Evans and Scarlett Johansson will be working together soon in an upcoming romance flick. As reported on THR, the two "Avengers" stars will be teaming up in a new Apple pic, "Ghosted", which will be written by the duo Paul Wernick and Rhett Reese of "Zombieland", "G.I. Joe: Retaliation", and "Deadpool" fame. Not much details have been revealed about the movie, except that it is inspired by the 1984 romantic action-adventure hit film, "Romancing the Stone" that starred Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner.
It is noted that this is the second film that Scarlett Johansson has secured since her lawsuit against Disney made headlines, following the Wes Anderson untitled project. It is also interesting to note that Chris Evans, who has worked with Johansson in multiple MCU films, has not made any public comments about the actress' lawsuit against the studio. The upcoming movie will be helmed by "Rocketman" director, Dexter Fletcher.
